Unexplainable tender spots all over

I am waiting to see a rheumatoid specialist right now, the AA levels in my blood are abnormal (something inflammatory) The things they told me it could be are lupus, fibromyalgia, or a type of arthritis. Go see a doctor and ask to see a specialist! Best of luck!

That sounds like it could be panniculitis. The next time u have a sore spot have ur dermatologist do a punch biopsy on it. Thats what they did for me to find out what it was

Every organ has outlets to the skin.As someone said massage it gently at first try if that doesn't work a bit firmer the next day and so on,also later on try some soothing cream on a plaster over it.

I know that this is late but have you ever heard of Dercum's Disease. It is thought to be rare but it causes painful lipomas basically any place on your body. Sometimes the lumps are visible. In my case I have visible lumps that are not painful and places that when touched (or someplace just on their own) cause pain. Trunk, and limbs. A google for painful lumps will show this also.

This has been happening since I was a little girl.it happens maybe five times a year on random parts of my body specially on my legs butt and back. I read somewhere one gets this condition from the mother. So ask your moms about it. I asked mine only a few months ago and I was surprised when she told she's had this problem her entire life but never spoke about it because it was so hard to explain. I thought I had damaged nerves. I feel pain but there's nothing that could cause the pain. No mark bump nothing. Even doctors give me blank stares when I question them about it.

Thx, not an option to ask my mom but is interesting that she has it too. It's been 5 years since I wrote my comment and other than more sore spots, I have no additional symptoms. I've researched Fibromyalgia & other diagnoses and none match and I feel fine. Just curious as to what it is.

I am 38 and have been dealing the sciatica pain for nearly 10 years. All my joints hurt constantly. About 2 months ago I felt sore area on my right thigh, just the other day I noticed another sore spot about a foot higher on the same thigh. No matter how much sleep I get I'm always tired. I'm depressed from the constant pain. I get very little sleep because I have a 2 year old to look after during the day and 3 more kids that need non stop care and work nights. I have little time for doctor appointment. What is the 1st step I should take to get diagnosed with Fibromyalgia? Pretty sure I have it.?

Thank you all for sharing. I have spot throughout my body that are painful. First I was experiencing sever bloodiness. The came the tenderness pain throughout; just enough to be irritating. I wasn’t sure how to explain this aside from flare ups. The legs were at first just heavy, spots of pain and tiredness. I’ll be share this next week with my doctor. I thought is had to do with nerves but I don’t know.

Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis given to a patient when no known diagnosis is apparent and doctors have "claimed" to have exhausted their resources. I was given that diagnosis in 2009 to find out I was in pain from kidney disease that has now reached stage 3. Look very closely at your blood work and don't take fibromyalgia as a diagnosis. There is something causing the pain. 3 doctors have treated me for 8 years, but only one doctor, who was not treating me, found it in my blood work. After his explanation and all of the research I've done I've concluded that kidney disease happens over the course of some years. Not overnight. Do yourselves a favor and ask for blood test results and always take them to the next physician.

I had sciatica surgery done on both sides. The procedure is called SI Joint Fusion. It is only done by a handful of doctors. Through a 3" incision on the hip the doctor g goes in and puts 4 titanium rods in the joint to stabilize it. I woke up to no pain in my lower back

I get them a bit across my ribs, also currently have one on my back. After massaging two - three times a day for up to a week they go away.....your's is the best explanation I have seen/
