I've had the same issues
I've started seeing a Gyno and found out I have endometriosis but he had told me the burning sensation before my period is something different he said there's something during ovulation that is over acidic in my body and it irritates the insides of the wall of my Vagina and there's literally nothing you can do. I've had it since I can remember and I'm now 23.
No anti biotics help trust me I've tried countless ones also tried all kinds of Cranberry intakes, vitamins and so many types of period pain/UTI supplements
I would suggest to see a Gyno as I saw a urologist who put me on anti biotics for 2 years and in return I had severe thrush which took 6 months to get rid of

This info. has been so helpful----seems there are many of us out there. Just started getting this burning around ovulation time and i'm peri-menopause age so I was wondering if it was related to hormones. Feels like a UTI, but symptoms come and go.

I have always had pain in my urethra right before I ovulate so I do not think it is as abnormal as you might think. In the past I would always think I was getting a UTI, but the doctors would always say it wasn't. I don't think my pain is quite as bad as what some of you have described but I thought I would at least chime in to say that you guys aren't crazy.

Hey ladies, I do not know if you guys are still on here, but just in case someone googles (like I did) and comes across this post...I have suffered from the same thing. At first I was not sure if it was from using liners or diff types of feminine products for that time. However, I did pelvic floor physical therapy and I had an older therapist tell me coconut oil can be used there! And most of that is caused from dryness or irritation from the constant discharge. a little goes a long way, use it daily for as long as you'd like! it is a natural lubricant and forms a protective barrier. saved my life in many ways!!!!

I have been dealing with this sense December (this now April the following year). Sadly, I am pre-menopausal in my mid-thirties and before I started having the same symptoms you all listed my hair started thinning some and my moods were everywhere! I finally made some serious changes to my diet that have helped so much with my mood and my hair, but right during ovulation and during my period I have the same intense burning and discomfort. I cant speak for everyong, but I also believe my is stress related, so I had to make some lifestyle changes as well and that helped TREMENDOUSLY! I hope my post helps! Good luck to you ladies!

You need to all look up vulvodynia. Not important and like you are on fire. Some things help relieve it a but such as yogurt cranberry etc because they believe it can be caused by a red yeast that gets into your system. I got it hard with diflucan for six months one a week and probiotics and boric acid capsules
