That's a lie. If you titrate like a normal person who really want's off. THERE IS GETTING OFF OF METHADONE. I'M PROOF! 200MG A DAY. It's your choice. Only an addict that doesn't want off says you'll never get off.

i have found i dont get the same high from the pot. i still feel good for a short time. i smoke good strains i just dont get high at all like i did before the treatment. i have been on methadone 60 mg for 2 yrs and i am starting to taper off now i hope to be off in 6 months i have goten my life back. i did my counceling and i got my soul back. the people who say methadone is bad they dont have a good clinic or they dont use all the resources they offer. the methadone kills all cravings and after 2 tears i dont even think about using. i had to rid my self of all people and things that had to do with useing. but i will be back and let you know if when i am off completely if i feel the high again from marijuana

I want to know what your experience was. Last night i ate 2 thc cookies and for 3 hours was just real high like normal, but suddenly i couldnt breathe and had to call 911 before i passed out luckily was able to barely tell them help send ambulance before i blacked out. When i woke up in the ambulance my heartrate was 130 which was stable from what it was when they first got me. Im trying to figure out what would cause that trauma. I dosed 85mg of methadone like13 hours before eating the cookies so it doesnt make much sense to have this reaction so much later and doctors only tell me that methadone is dangerous to mix with any substance, thats just what their supposed to say, but what really happened.

I know right i never built a tolerance on methadonee becuz of marijane and has never effected me while weening down off of methadone ..Like u said should we double breast with heroin instead lol i guess all peoplle can reallly say some out of this world stuff lol take care

Wow!! Really! I’m so scared I was on liquid methadone for 6 or 7 years oer time it went up to 240 mg, had to quit it was too expensive and so in order to get to a pain clinic I had to get down to 100mg before they could even help me, so I did..all had been good although I’ve been in crazy pain due to 16 surgeries with other problems.after being on 90mg for a few years now he’s taking away 10mg a month....so living in a state that they’re cracking down opiate abuse, they’re taking you off your meds and don’t care about your pain, health...but what your saying is if the completely take me off I’m going to suffer with major withdrawals for months to come is this correct? Please let me know deeply appreciate some insight on this matter...

I've been using the 2 together for 20yrs. It's quite safe to mix them but obviously if you have more methadone than your tolerance allows you will overdose. It'll be the methadone that causes the overdose, pot won't play a part.

Im on 80mg of metadone I just started smking weed but can t catch a high in the weed is it b cuz of the methadone

Its people like this that scare people away from getting the help they need. If done correctly, when you get off methadone there is little to ZERO withdrawls! People need to understand this and spread the truth about how beating your heroin addiction with proper methadone maintenance can be done without any harm or loss of soul. 110 mg isnt a high dose. Its moderate to low. My dose was almost double that. It just depends on what works for you. Everyone is different. But if you slowly decrease your dose 1,2, or 5 mg at a time every 3-4 weeks... before you know it you arent taking anything and you feel fine. Take it from someone who shot heroin for 10 years and turned to the methadone clinics for help after countless failures and relapses and dope sick nights and weeks trying to get clean. I couldnt. Methadone saved my life and i still have it thankfully. I successfully tapered to 0 mg and continued to live my life normally. It wasnt EASY but life now is amazing now that im not poking myself 10 times everyday. I owe a lot to the methadone program in my city. Methadone has saved countless lives and if more people knew that their quality of life could improve, maybe more people would get help.

I was just prescribed methodone st a dose of 5mg. I need it for pain associated with severe Lupus, I don’t feel pain relief from the methodone so I smoked some pot. Ilwhat did you mean it’s worse than heroin.

I am on Methadone. I was introduced to Cannaba oil and I just want to know if I can take alittle oil due to anxiety, will it affect the Methadone?

That is what I thought also. Cause I only take a few drops of oil twice a day. It helps me eat, less stress, and sleep four hours a nite compared two two hours. So far so good. I didn't like the high from pot, so I chose oil from HEMP WORX and I'm hoping to go forward with my life. I have Lymes disease and two neck surgeries that went bad, Oh and In a coma for an infected galbladder and now I want to get back my life, friends hobbies etc. Keep you posted

They test for pot at clinics?? im from new jersey and weed is ok with my clinic they dont even test for it only methadone..benzos..crack/cocaine/..barbiturates and amphetamines

can someone teach me to get off methadone...I was on 175 and I came down 10mg per week. Now I'm at 130mg and still going on with 10mg per week or per two week if I feel too much pain...I don't know if I can really come off by tapering it... Methadone clinic is so nasty they don't care about going up...They keep making u up ur dose....I'm so afraid that's why I need to down my dose from now on
