I have been experiencing vaginal flatulance for about a month now. There is no odor, discharge, or pain involved. What could be causing this? It is uncontrolable, and very embarrassing. It usually occurs when I am standing from a sitting position. Thank you for your help.

I have been having this problem too lately. It completely embarrassed me at work the other day when I stood up with other people by my desk. I would like to know if there is something I can do to prevent this from happening.

This happens to me all the time, it is a weird sensation almost like loads of bubbles coming out. I think the best thing to do before you get up is to rock your hips and encourage them out. You can minimize any sounds with your legs.

Hope this helps. It is just air getting trapped inside nothing to worry about.

It's not flatulance, it's air that has gotten into the vagina. A slang term for this is called a "queef" and normally could happen during intercourse when air is being sucked into the vagina, when it is expelled it sounds like a fart, it's not. There is no odor and it's not a medical issue at all.
