I noticed, quite a while ago now, that down on my left testicle there seems to be a lumpy mass. However, on closer inspection they seem to be tubes of some sort, blue, and not actually attached to the testicle but to the tubes above it yet they hang down so if my testicle was clock they are between 12 and 6. Is there a chance they could be veins or could they be cancerous? I am 15 and for some reason dont fancy going to the doctors as i am of a very nervous/self concious person. Any help would be appreciated as this is making me feel quite worried inside my head and i find any time my brain isnt engaged i want to go and check again and again and again.
Forgot to add, the tubes above my left testicle seem to be larger and more in number, whether this helps i do not know, i thought it may be variacose veins or whatever but im not really sure so..

yeah, im 17 and i had surgery 2yrs ago for vericocele-vericose veins, hydrocele-fluid filled sacs, tumors, and cysts.
w
it sounds like vericoceles. they can hurt and cause you testicle to atrophy-shrink in size and can cause infertility-not able to have children.
i had a serious case of it though, thats why i had to have surgery. it sometimes goes away, but not usually.
if u need surgery, its nothing to worry about. u get an incision above the penis-bladder area or on the scrotum. its a small incision about 3 inches. they go in and take out all the bad stuff etc. its not that bad. your testicles will be really bruised for a couple of months-literally black and blue! and man will it hurt! and the cut will take about 3 months to heal. but other than that, its ok.
you'll be back to normal in a couple of months.
but yeah, go to ur doctor, or urologist, they'll understand, they wont laugh or make fun of u, they are there to help you. if u have a female doctor, dont worry, laws state that a man must examine u anyways, so she wont do it. but yeah, get a urologist. he'll talk to you and examine u and tell ya what hes gonna do. u might get a scrotal ultrasound to make a definitive diagnosis. the doc will also do a physical of the rest of your reproductive organs to make sure that thats all that is wrong.
dont worry, you'll be fine!

I've noticed a few days ago that the veins above my left testicle were lumpy. They don't hurt, but I was wondering if there's anything seriously wrong happening down there. Could it be a varicocele above my left testicle?
