Ok so I'm pretty sure I just started my first period. I have dark red goup coming from my vagina and I'm having lower stomach cramps......is it suppose to be dark red and mucusy?

For every women its completely different. The symptoms your describing are a sign of a period. Use a pad until its gone. Next month if you get it around the same time you will know you have started your period. The color will change and be different from month to month and the texture will also change regularly.
