There have been no scientific studies on vinegar, however what people use most to lower cholesterol and lose weight is apple cider vinegar. It has been analyzed chemically. It is loaded with vitamins, minerals and powerful antioxodants. All of which promote a healthy cardiovascular system. Although the information about its health benefits are anecdotal, there seems to be a lot of truth to it. I would continue with the vinegar and perhaps take even more than a tablespoon. You can use it to marinade foods with and add it to water, juices and other beverages to make it more palatable if you like. Good luck on the vinegar diet.
