Hi, folks. My husband has been having some problems with snoring, but he also thinks that he has sleep apnea. I have heard something about somnoplasty, but I don’t know any details. I would like to hear them from someone who has had this procedure. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hello. I made my husband to do somnoplasty. He also had some snoring problems. Somnoplasty is a surgical method. It removes the soft tissues of soft palate and uvula. It uses low levles of radiofrequency. It makes some burn areas under the lining of soft palate and uvula. You can expect that snoring will be even worse immediately after the procedure. This is because tissues are swollen. You will notice improvements in a week or two. This improvement will continue in next few months. I hope this helps.
