What is the difference between water based lubes and every other lube? If I get really really wet do I still need lube?

Lubes can be water based or petroleum based usually. Petroleum based lubes ARE NOT compatible with latex condoms...they break down the latex. So water based are usually better. Water based is also much easier to clean up.
If you naturally are very wet - then you probably don't need a lube. If you, or him, find it's uncomfortable then you can always add a little.
