I will try to sum up my story as quickly as possible:

So im a 24M in good shape who used to love life, recently it has been hell. It all started about six weeks ago, the day after having a chiropractic neck adjustment. I was a regular smoker for over eight years, I smoked all the time, led a great life, was successful and had little to complain about. About six weeks ago i smoked and all of the sudden my heart rate hit around 200 (i know bc they ran an EKG at the hospital), I became severely light headed, and my vision blurred to almost blindness. My tongue and extremities also felt numb. Being sure it wasnt the weed (because i smoked all the time) I rushed to the hospital thinking I was poisoned... they did nothing and sent me home six hours later.

The next day i felt really weird and depersonalized, mostly dizzy and severe blurred vision. Not to mention INSANE INSOMNIA (wasnt fixed with ambien, trazadone, seroquel, or xanax) I saw a nuerologist, had blood checked, urine checked, a cat scan, tried anti depressants and anti anxiety, and even tried relaxation techniques i would have never attempted before this. It's been six weeks and i'm not getting better. I thought maybe the weed was laced so i tried smoking with some friends recently thinking it would be different. BOY WAS I WRONG, same experience as the first time! (although not quite as bad) After freaking out and losing my mind for over 24 hrs im back to square one. Will i ever recover? Why does weed do this after 8 yrs not missing a day? Has anyone had similar experiences? My biggest theory is that the neck adjustment compressed a disk around where my fight or flight nerve center is located. I've never been so close to suicide and dont know if i should just end this or if there is hope.

I been smoking for about 10 years and sometime after 5 years ago.. I had the pain for no reason when ever i got stoned. I was the worst pain I ever went threw. My body was cramping, my nick, shoulders and head hurt so badly and I felt like I was going to lose all control of my bodily functions.. so i just backed off for a couple off months. After awhile I was still a little scared but I tried smoking a bowl and it felt like I had just got stoned for the first time all over again and the pain hasn't returned since. So I just say take a break and let your nick get better than try smoking again because like the person before me said. "There is always hope!"

It could just be all in your head man. The mind is a powerful thing, if you go into your next smoke session expecting everything to be fine it probably will.
Here is why I say this, just yesterday as I was coming back from a day on Block Island, RI. I had a similar experience. I felt nausea on the ferry ride back so I went and stood outside the mens room just in case. While trying to fight back that feeling things just literally faded to black. It persisted for about 7 min. I was totally freaked, scenarios of figuring out how the hell to get of the packed boat were going through my head. I just began to concentrate on my breathing and thought process, kind of talked myself out of it. And then it just came back, once the sweats I had developed from being freaked the the f**k out went away I was all good. I was actually googleing the issue which is how I found your post. I'm high now though and loving life, positive thoughts!!

There's a good chance your batches have been coming from a dealer that gets it from a producer who uses chemicals you may be allergic to. Also, mainly in lower grade hard-packed cannabis that comes from Mexico, there are preservation and flavor sprays used (flavor sprays are used to make lesser educated users think that the strain they have is a higher strain grade like blueberry) that cause adverse reactions in MANY people. Try layin off the green all together or upgrade to better (best) quality and see if you have continued problems. You also may want to look into lymphatic drainage. Good luck and don't lose hope!!
