when I went to the hospital a few months ago I had an iv and my left wrist started forming a bump.my wrist has only started hurting now and the bump is back.

I just discovered a small bump (size of a small bead) on the side of my wrist also. You cannot see it on top of the skin, I only feel it when I press on that area. It doesn't hurt at all. After reading up online, any bumps, no matter how small, should be checked. Most likely its nothing, but it doesn't hurt to be sure.

I have the same thing. Just noticed it last night for first time. I can only see it when my wrist is just right. The bone like bump is on my bone and moves out of view when my hand moves back and forth. It's unnerving to see something like this under your skin. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't rub against anything, so not a bone spur. Did you ever find out what yours was? I know this posting is over a year old. Don't even know if you will even see my posting, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. What the hell is it? LOL

I have the same exact thing... I go to the gym 5-6 days a week and lift weights, never had this bump in my wrist until I started.. at first, it didn't hurt, and now sometimes it does. I have tried to do some research... and it seems that ganglion cysts are soft and squishy, and this is not.. I'd be really interested to know what it is but if your doctor said not to worry then I do not think I will be going to see the doctor for it.. good luck to you

Thats what i wonder as well. I bus tables at a restaurant. Been doin that for 2 years now and all of a sudden i have the same thing. Wonder if its from lifting heavy bus tubs full of dishes repeatedly for 7 hrs straight almost everyday.

I have a few different size masses deep in the forearm. One is rather large and deep directly above the wrist which causes at times difficulty in the range of motion of the wrist. How to get rid of it?
