Hi
So I'm 18
My periods started just before I turned 11
But the thing is I've NEVER had a normal period, I accepted that, I was always told 'they take five years to settle down' etc etc
But I'm really getting worried now
I can go without a period for three months, no jokes, sometimes I've gone without a period for 9 months, I'm not scared of that, I've never had sex, I know there's no chance of me being pregnant.
But when I do have a period, they start very slowly, the blood often even seems old, not like fresh bright blood (sorry if this is a little gross)
That can go on for weeks, then I will suddenly get seriously -heavy- periods, I mean, going through the strongest tampons in about an hour, which really affects me and makes me very self conscious, constantly having to check if I've come through
My period itself can last up to 6 weeks... This is not a joke... and it's really starting to concern me...
Sometimes I bleed between periods for a day also
Has anyone heard of this? Like I said, I'm only 18, so the chances of me having cervical cancer are very low.. but it's really starting to stress me out
