I think that is smart thinking. When we were making the decision i told Jerry I wanted him to be absolutely sure he didn't want more children, not just that we didn't want more children. He was sure. I think Sweet Pea did him in. ;)

Well, it would depend on which next wife he was talking about. If he meant his next wife after I died tragically and he waited to remarry until after a suitable mourning period I would have been okay with that.
If he meant his next wife after he dumped me for a younger, blonder trophy wife I would have performed my own vasectomy on him. And the ectomy might have included more than the vas.
