What could cause lump above collarbone?

Hey there I am 18 years old and I have a lump on the left side of my nech right above my collarbone. I am really worried. My neck hurts all the time, even more if I touch the lump or turn my neck, Please help!

iHAD MRSA FOR A YEAR TREATED WITH ANTIIBIOTICS FOR 9 MONTHS THEN DR FOUND LUMP ON LEFT COLLOR ONE VERY PAINFULL ALL THE WAY TO SHOULDER, HAD CT FOUND NODULE ON THYROID BUT NO ANSWER ON THE COLLAR BONE LUMP WANT TO DO BIOPSY ON NOLUAL BUT FIRST WANT A N ULTRA SOUND THEN WILL DO BIOPY IS THIS NORMAL NO ONE GIVES ANSWERS HELP

i have a lump i have discovered it not long ago and didn't think much of it but it is under my right collarbone it could just be tissue i hope because i have a blood blister near it that keeps poping you can easily move the lump around it only a small lump, and because my hart is racing because i am scared of what it, the lump also has a little pulse. i just wanna know what is it or if any of yous have the same problem and know what it is and what to do

Did they check your thyroid?

thyroid..goiter...stomach cancer, breast cancer, lymph node bacteria in it...

my lump is not hard like yours, but larger and soft..could that not be cancer??
since I keep reading it was hard for you?

one day a was rubbing my collarbone and noticed that my right side of my clavicle near my neck was bulging out much furthar out than my left.  Went to an ENT and told me "here's some antibiotics".  Also on my right side of neck swelled up and i feel a node just on next to my thyroid.  I had a ultra sound done today and waiting for results tomorrow.  I have read all these posts saying the nothing ever comes up on ultra sounds.  I'm also scheduled for an Ct scan on Monday, hopefully that would tell me something.  In this situation isn't an MRI better or more in depth?

It feels like a hard bone sticking out, i don't know if it the actually bone or if its something growing on it.  My wife says its the actually bone.  Are nodes located ON, Above, Under, or literally Under the clavicle?

Im worried sick, and Google has made me crazy.  No weight loss, no fever, no night sweats, no rashes.  Only think i feel is some bloating in stomach (like fullness, a lot), random itching(but is not crazy itching), also very tired all the time.

pumpkin, what have you found out? I have a soft puffy lump above my right collar bone. CT scan show nothing at all. I also have pain on that side like carpal tunnel. I have been told the bad stuff has been ruled out. I want to relax but I can stop rubbing it.

i have similar sypmtoms the past 8 months i discovered a lump on the back of my neck just below my skull,at first i didnt think anything of it,then a few months later more appeared so this got me a little paranoid so i went to the doctors they did some blood tests on me and they were fine,the doctor said they were just lymth nodes,but recently i have discovered a painless lump on my left collor bone and i have this weird tingling sensation the left side of my chest which feels like its near my collor bone almost feels like its growing,this is getting me worried tbh,if anyone has similar symptoms please give me an answer.

Minus the tonsil thing, I've found the same thing. I got an ultrasound and was told that I "may have an extra rib.. or something." My doctor did nothing after this. (Which occurred about a year ago.)  Now I have noticed a restriction of blood flow so we're going to look into it more.

Hi: Experiencing the same thing. Went out for dinner with my sister on Monday and had changed my clothes, no sign of anything.

I come home and I'm changing to go to bed and I had at the base of my color bone , left side, directly under where my chin is

a large solid bone like bump. Called my Dr. and got in on Thursday, she did extensive X-rays and and ultra sound and assures

me it isn't cancer but not sure what it is. I am quite thin and it is very upsetting to me, specially since my husband had a had

bone type bump on his color bone and it went into a full scaled tumor and he only survived 9 months. My Dr. is treating it with

high amounts of Advil for two weeks to see if  it will shrink. I'm calling on Monday to have her do full out blood tests and tyroid

tests. Something is up. I sooo feel for you as I'm going through the same thing.

itching is a secondary affect from swelling, when my veins in my leg swelled, it itched terrible licke eczema, but it was due to fluid build up from swelling
