what does protine in you blood do?

Does this reading affect weight gain as well as thickens the blood?

I thought I would find answers to many of the questioms asked but all I see is questions. Where do I find the answers since I have trouble keeping my protine readings between 2-3. Today my reading was 6.5. Monday I see my family doctor and Tuesday my Card-- Doctor.
