I’m literally 12, 5’6 and 142 pounds. I asked my doctor about dieting and he said that I didn’t need it! I play volleyball but other than that I’m not very good at exercising. So just remember THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE ME IN THE WORLD WHO ARNT EVEN 13 YET WHO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS U.

I mean...maybe just a little. I don't want to hurt your feelings but I just don't want to tell your something that you aren't because that can actually be mean as well. Regardless you should definitely exercise and choose a healthier diet, it's not about the weight but more about the longterm health conditions. If you're already eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly, I say there's nothing wrong with loving your body because you probably look fabulous either way.

Hey I’m 15. The last time I checked I weigh about 162 lbs at a height 5’6. I’m really determined to lose at least max of 42 lbs before formal and my friends quiñce comes up. I really feel like I’m over weight and I’ve been trying all these diets/excersices but they don’t really seem to work. I’m really going through a rough time with all this weight on me and for once I just want to be happy with the way my body looks for me . Eventhough I have amazing caring friends saying that I look beautiful to them no matter what , but I honestly feel like they are just saying that to be nice . I need some guidence to help reach my goal. I’ll do whatever it takes to make myself look and feel beautiful .

You aren’t losing weight because you’re muscle. Chances are that if you’re eating right and doing gymnastics that you’re in pretty great shape for our age

The simplest tip that worked for me is "exercise more than you eat", or "burn more calories than you consume".

I agree with you! I am 15 and 5'5. I weigh 124 lbs. I started doing Irish dance last year and I have lost some stomach and side fat, but have built so much muscle from that. I feel so good now.
