actually, for a height of 5'6 in a fifteen year old female (depending on bone structure and level of physical activity), the average weight ranges from numbers as low as 110 to numbers as high as 147- which is not even high. Say you have a medium bone structure: 128 to 144 pounds automatically, plus a few pounds because you will most likely shoot up half an inch or so more before your body stops growing. In short, your weight is completely fine. I know this because I am fifteen and 5'6, and I asked my nutritionist what the average weight range is for girls my age. Do not post answers on this website that are not one hundred percent accurate; you could have seriously damaged this girl's self confidence or coerced her into a dieting plan that she never needed.

Not correct at all. I am currently 15 years of age and everyone has a different body shape and size. You are perfectly the right size. But, it all depends. If you're 5'6 and 143 lbs that is actually normal. Woman who are 5'6 are a bit taller and need to be proportional in size. Saying this girl should be 110 lbs, js not healthy. That is a bit too small. A normal weight for a girl who is 5'4 is actually 120-133 if you have a small frame but if you have a medium frame it's 130-144 lbs.

if you are active and eat good food then you don't need to lose weight, remember being healthy isn't about being super skinny, muscle also weighs more than fat does and since you do gymnastics you have muscle from that

If you are and active person you will probably have some muscle on you, and muscle weighs twice as much as fat so don't worry so much about the number
