You can't afford one of those. That's like winning a car, you can't afford to keep it.

Uh bloo, I don't think I'd have such a great reaction to getting a laundry basket. I'm sure I'd use it, but my response would be more along the lines of "Uhhhh...... thanks? :? "

thanks, it was nothing really. I just thought about living in a new place without many conveniences. each month I would have a list of things I needed to make life a bit easier.
You should host a TV show.... 8O
Reminds me of the Cheers episode where Norm is hired to decorate folks apartments... :wavey:

Also add a bucket, sponge, scrub brush. dust pan and brush, etc... The price of TP and Paper Towels these day's, throw in a few of them too! I used a ton of the dollar store furnature wipes and counter wipes... Lots of good cleaing stuff at the dollar tree...

" what if i said "here's your laundry basket, b*tch" and threw it at him? this guy has lived with dudes his whole life, he's not likely to appreciate cooking spices. and everything else is more then i have to spend right now :| if it helps, we might be giving him a couch from my garage.

Dollar store has good stuff. Buy that stuff.

Lava lamps are still cool. (It's all perspective. I'm not cool yet I think they're cool so I'll let you decide)

Neon is always a good gift. (I've always wanted a neon sign of some sort)

that's why I threw a couple of ideas out there. I wasn't sure if this was a sophisticated metrosexual, or a jock getting his first place. The laundry basket or clothes hamper with either laundry supplies or household cleaning supplies will be greatly appreciated I'm sure.
oh, and alcohol is always a welcome gift at my place. I'm just sayin'
