I apoligize for my ignorance but what is "p"- I can't think of anything that would be referred to as this...
3 months shouldn't be all that bad- specially if your dose isn't that high. What is your methadone dose?
Usually the withdrawl is the same as all opoids- flu like symptoms, chills, nausea, restless legs, anxiety, runny nose, sneezing, yawning, achyness, diarreha, ect ect... BUT if you detox off of it , which you should and every methadone presciber should highly recommend you do so...these symptoms should be very mild to non-existant...usually the best way to come off of methadone is 2-5 mg a week. You can go slower or faster depending on how you feel but if you start to feel bad add a mg and stay at the same dose for a few days then start back up. It can be done relatively pain free with a little patience. Good luck and take care
