mimi: You should seriously consider getting yourself on the pill to prevent future situations like this, the pill alone is over 99% effective against pregnancy (even when the man "ejaculates") add a condom and you really dont need to worry.......you do NOT need your parents permission and they don't even need to know.

I am on the Depo Provera injection and i dont get my period so when should i take the test if your ment to take it after you miss a period? NO you can not 'stress away' your period. the reason why some women have later periods one month than in others is because not all women have regular ' obvulation cycles. it is not nesisarily 14 days after your period. so if you have a later period by a few days one month it would not be from stress but because you obvulation paterns have changed that month .. making it 'late'. you can NOT stress away your period.

I realize there are people out there who need advice, but come on people!!! Every woman is different, cycles are different, and stress CAN and WILL cause problems with your cycle! Use the simple calendar method...even if your period is longer or shorter than usual it should work. Count the number of days from the day your period starts to the day the next period starts. That is the length of your cycle. Count backwards 14 days and that is the day you SHOULD have ovulated. It is not an exact science, so this is only helpful if you are trying to get pregnant, not prevent pregnancy! If you have a cycle that is 40 days long, for instance, and you think you are pregnant, you should wait until day 40 to take a test. (Ex: you had a period on Jan 1, had intercourse a week later or so and feel pregnant. You should not be able to get a positive result until Feb 9 at the earliest.) On the other hand, if you don't want to be pregnant, use protection!!! There is a multitude of options out there to prevent pregnancy, including not having sex at all. There are too many unwanted children in this world, and people raising children they can't afford. It pisses people like me off who are in a loving marriage, I stay home while my husband does an awesome job of providing for us, and I am having infertility problems. Be smart, don't have unprotected sex unless you are ready for a child, and do the research. There are plenty of medical websites where you can get answers, or go to a doctor. That's what they're there for!
