I have to say that I have gotten frightened couple of days ago when I noticed some white changes in my throat. I have read somewhere that diphtheria had that symptom and that was a very dangerous condition. I have been vaccinated for that illness, but I am still concerned. Where do first changes happen when suffering from diphtheria?

think that you should not worry, at least when it comes to diphtheria. If you have received a vaccine that means that you are immune to that disease. As for that whitish changes they might be a sign of many other conditions, strong throat inflammation might be one of those. White plaque accumulating on the tonsils is the first sign of diphtheria but that is not something you have.
