Ok, so I started running my freshmen year of highschool. I was very slow but I put in a ton of miles, worked very hard and I was able to bring my 5k time down to 17:45 by my senior year.
So now I'm running college and my legs just feel useless. I am the slowest on my team, we started off the season with a 5k and I got arround 20:30.
Thiers people who hardly put in any miles last summer and they are faster than me.
Last summer I ran a decent amoun... 300 miles in 3 months. And I swam for 2 hours every morning, and biked everywhere, and had a job as a server so I hardly got to sit down.
I feel so discoraged right now, I have worked so hard over the past years, and now I'm so... slow and I have no clue why.

Maybe you need to work more on your strength. Try to sprint more often so you could have more explosive start. Also it seems that you are always running, swimming or working, you must be exhausted, take some time to rest.
