I am a 34 year old who doesn't use oral contraceptives. I choose to use the IUD and had it for 5 years but because of blood clots 4 years ago I had it removed. I thought it would take a while before my body returned to normal but In the last couple of years the blood clots have become a big problem. Another factor in my confusion is that at age 21 I had an ovary removed with a large ovarian cyst. My menstrual cycle is heavy with blood clots some months and once in a while it is light and painless. Do these symptoms seam abnormal?
