OK so i got my period on the 13th of july and then a month later i finally got another one or what i thought was my period on the 31st of august but i am still getting a light brow to dark brown bleeding now. there isnt much. i have no cramps no pain or anything im just curious as to why i am still bleeding. I am sexually active and STD free we were both virgins when we had sex with each other.
So an advice as to what it could be would be apriciated also i am only 16

So you are saying from August to current date, you've been getting some dark bleeding?
If you have had any manual sex aka ''fingering" recently or anything that could cut vaginal tissue that could cause the bleeding. Typically in a scenario like this, I would assume your vagina is just cleansing itself, (that's what all that mucus is about going on down there.) Dark/brown blood is always considered to be old blood. Since you are in about mid-cycle it is normal for some women experience ovulation bleeding during this time.
