Your parents are to blame. They had part of your penis cut off and thrown out with medical waste when you were a baby. That ring is a circumcision scar. It's not going to go away.

I am a father of 3 children and have the ring you are all talking about. I have never had any previous girlfriends ask about it. It is obviously a circumcision scar. Mine has never faded. I actually think it has gotten darker over time. This ring will not prevent you from having children.

While it may seem normal, and of course not a reason to judge him, keep in mind that it isn't. His penis was cut, and that isn't right. Google the functions of the foreskin and sexasnatureintendedit.

The same reason Frankenstein has scars on his head, your penis was sliced away at and formed a scar to forever remind you that you were welcomed to this world with a brutal horror movie fashion and just like Frankie isn't quite a man, your penis isn't quite a penis now that many functions have been lost to losing your foreskin (self-lubrication, pliable skin that covers and protects the penis head keeping it well moisturized and sensitive rather than dry and less sensitive

If you are circumcised, it is your circumcision scar. It marks where your foreskin was cut from your penis. If you are not circumcised, I don't know what that could be from, and you could have it examined by your doctor. They may have a better idea.

Sometimes that happens, but not always. On the Penn & Teller BS episode about circumcision they called several hospitals and most of them said that foreskins are thrown out with medical waste.

It looked like they used them in the soup in the cafeteria where I worked some years ago. The girl sitting next to me pulled one out of her soup and asked me if I lost something. I told her no but she could check if she wanted.

It is from when you were strapped down to a plastic board and your penis was mutilated without your consent. As a result, you lost the right to control your own body, 20,000 nerve endings, and now have a worsened sexual experience. STOP GENITAL MUTILATION.
