I need information about ectopic pregnancy and tubal pregnancy. Will a pregnancy work for a tubal pregnancy? What are the symptoms of tubal pregnancy and do they differ from common pregnancy symptoms? Thank you.

Ectopic pregnancy happens when fertilized egg implants outside the uterus. It happens in one of 50 pregnancies. Tube is the way by which egg travels to uterus. If the tube is damaged or blocked, egg may implant and continue to develop in the tube. Almost all ectopic pregnancies are tubal pregnancies. Egg may implant in ovary, cervix or directly in abdomen. There is no way to transplant egg into uterus, so pregnancy must be ended.
Unrecognized tubal pregnancy may cause permanent tubal damage.
