I was exercising; doing chest press; about a week ago. At the last set, I reached failure and unfortunately to support the barbell my right wrist slightly bend to right side and there was sharp pain around the outer side of my wrist joint; I mean on the little finger side; but only in the wrist; not in hand. I stopped exeising. There was no redness, swealling. I could move my wrist properly. Just when I flex the wrist on the outer side like opening a round water tap or bottle cap; squueze the hand or supination and pronation of the elbow; I feel pain only in the outer side of the wrist. For first 4 days the pain gradually was reducing. Then it's not reducing anymore. Here, I am after a week. I still feel pain during those movements. I have not taken any medicine for this. Do I need to consult a doctor for this ? Or any OTC pain relief drug ? Does my condition sounds serious ? Thanks.
