I am a young female.
I get dark black hair on my upper lip. Also i get dark black hair on my stomach / around my belly button and also dark black hair on my breasts.
My sister only gets light hair on her stomach, and my mum gets light brown hair on her upper lip.
Please can i have some help in understanding why its there? How i can get ride of it (it there a tablet i can take)?

Your condition is called hirsutism. It is due to excessive secretion of (or over-sensitivity to) androgen in women. This is a treatable condition. Please see your doctor.

Or your going thru puberty and you just happen to be one of the lucky ladies that gets more hair than others. I have hair around my belly button too. and most ladies have it on their upper lip some have to wax it to get rid of it. ... Unless its like really really really bad and noticible to where you look like a man I wouldn't worry so much...
