I am in peri menopause. Usually, right before my periods, which are late all the time, and right after my periods I get some clear leakage (not sure if it's urine or vaginal) and a strong fishy smell. Been to GYN and Urologist....no infections, ever. Can't figure this out. Very frustrating.

I experienced that as well. My last period was 4 years ago. Recently my boyfriend talked to me about this (it was a big stumbling block for certain parts of our sex life) so I went to the doctor. He said there were a number of things I could try but first and foremost was that I had to stop using over the counter douches IMMEDIEATLY! I thought I was doing a good thing but he told me that I had screwed up my vaginal chemistry by over-douching. He also told me to stay completely away from all of the flower, scented body soaps I had been using. Those helped some, but what helped me the most was eating yogurt every day & taking cranberry pills 2-3 times a week (at first - though now I only take them once a week or so). I have had no trouble with odor for several months now.
