I have always been heavy. My mom has me on tape when I was four telling everyone that I'm fat. My whole life has been an endless parade of diet dooks, excersizes, pills, shots, etc but nothing ever works and I don't know why. I think somewhere around eleven I lost hope and now its really hard for me to care about losing weight anymore. To clear up the variables, my family almost never buys anything fattening, everything in my house is light or low fat right down to the cottage cheese. I live on a farm and do lots of farmwork and go to the gym usually about twice a week for an hour and a half. I don't know what's wrong with me but the teasing's getting worse and I don't want to get type two diabetes. If anyone has any ideas about what's wrong with me or how to help I would appreciate your gorgeous self immensly. Sorry for raving, I needed to explain where I was coming from. Thanks! - Elise

Have you had blood tests? Maybe you have an early onset of thyroid problems.

I have the same problem and I don't know what's wrong . I'm 14 as well and been on various diets and nothing helps .

I lost from 295 lbs to 170 lbs and still going until I reach my ultimate goal weight. I did it by eating no breads, rice, or any refined sugars.
I use honey to sweeten, eats boiled vegetables and drink the stock. I also boil chicken with the veggies for extra nutrution with the stock. I eat small amounts of food every few hours and make sure I do not eat out even if it's healthy, since the healthiets foods are cooked at home.

You gotta cut out anything that is sugar or turns to sugar, like carbs and sweets - also cut out the dairy for the time being, until I am at my goal weight I will not touch any carbs besides the ones you get from veggies and fruit or almonds

You gotta be strict! If diet and lifestyle changes don't work for you then you must see a doctor to have a check up done.

I also quit smoking a whiles back and went on this diet and instead of gaining weight like some ex smokers, because of my diet I lost weight. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
