I have been experiencing severe pain in my abdominal area. It feels a bit like period cramping but I feel it through the whole month, not just when I am on my period. It comes out of nowhere, like a flash of pain. Sometimes I have to sit down and hold my lower stomach because it hurts. Then it just goes away. I do not experience it all the time but when I do it is very uncomfortable. I also have been experiencing some pain during intercourse in the same general area. Additionally, I just ended my period, then two days later I have began to see a dark brown/ blackish discharge. I'm not sure if these things are connected but I wondered if anyone had any advise. Oh, just this year I switch birth control pills to trinessa. could this be a factor?
