Hi all,

I just realised I never got back to this post - some of you had guessed correctly, it turned out that I had endometriosis which had caused adhesions on my bowels which caused the bowel spasms and vomiting, and it was on my pelvic wall and ovary.

They cut it all out and put the mirena coil in and I was completely symptom free for about a year, which was amazing and felt like I had my normal life back rather than in and out of A&E and the GP surgery.

Anyway, it's starting to come back now so I'm going back through the whole NHS referall slow system. But at least I know what it is, it's miserable at times, especially knowing there's no cure and obviously it's a concern regarding fertility.

I hope you all got diagnosed and are all better now and thanks for the posts, its reassuring to know I wasn't alone out there in what I was going through, even though I wouldn't wish that on anyone!

Hi. This may be no help but i had all sorts of similar problems and finally put it down to a wheat intolerance. I stopped having wheat or dairy and now I feel fine. I am sure it's all related. Just an idea but maybe leave off the wheat ( and I mean all wheat - check every ingredient). Good luck sounds like a nightmare.

For all of you on here. I went through all these symptoms for years..Was told I had enodmetriosis..cyst on ovaries, IBS, gasteritis..my daughter went through all of this too..she was told she had Chrons disease..GUESS what, we both had h-pylori..it is a parasite..it is contagious but can be cured with a strong round of anitbiotics and probiotics u take together for a month..you must retest because sometimes it doesn't always get it the first time..you test, through blood work, or breath in a baloon or through an endoscope..THEY HAVE TO TEST spacifically for this or they will not find it..it cured us both!! Good luck to you all

Hi all I just saw your posts and its amazing how similar all our symptoms are. I have had pains since May, it all started as a sharp pain when I breath & the only way to relive it was to hold my breath but I couldn't hold it for long as the pain took almost 10 minutes everytime. I went to a doctor & was given anti inflammatory drugs & pain stopped for a while but then I was nauseous with horrible headache & lower back pain. I then had this abdominal pain and I went to see my gynae he gave me buscopan for the pain & it went away for a while too. In August the pain came back & I went to doctor again and was told I have womb infection, given antibiotics & anti-inflammtory drugs but then I had this bitter taste in my mouth as if I had a lot of acid in my system. I tried gaviscon, Rennie etc but they all didn't work but that also went away on its own. The pain on the abdoman came back again in September but now it felt like it was on my fallopian tubes....its very sharp & stabbing at times. It gets better when I lie down for a while with a warm bag on the pelvic as no pain medication seems to work. I finally saw a doctor was told I have an infection & am also constipated and was given antibiotics, anti inflammatory drugs and something for the constipation. The pain is still there but better than before and now my gynae has referred me to a physician because he says I have nodes on my pelvic and throat which is a sign of inflammation somewhere in my body. I hate the wait cause I only got an appointment for next month but the pain is horrible...it tends to give me back pain & tingling on my legs especiall on my left leg as its now on the right side of my pelvic area. Any suggestion are welcome as the GP had said the symptoms I am describing are for endometriosis but my gynae said the ultra sound doesn't show any, he also took swab for pap smear hopefully that will give us direction together with urine test. He also suggested that it could be my UICD coz I have one on. The agony of waiting is killing me together with the pain because I hate taking tablets.

Reading this & everyone else's stories just makes me really angry. I have also had these same issues but for the last 3 months & I can't imagine if I keep having it for as long as some of you. It's such horrible pains & out of no where. I just had to miss my first week of a new semester at UNO because of this. To me that is ridiculous school is very important & I never miss class. I'm tired of the doctors just giving bs solutions that do nothing. It's like they don't even care or believe us. It's so frustrating!!

I'm 22 and I've got two babies my youngest is 7 months. I never went to my 6 week check up because I'm always busy...but this past Tuesday I woke up my throat almost swollen shut I had an ear infection in both ears and chills plus body pain..I went to the ER they checked for strep and flu, came back negative on both test. They never took blood nor did I pee in a cup. They shot me with antibiotic and released me. Everything continued except the chills I wrapped up and sweated it out. But now I've got vaginal bleeding, only when I wipe and diharea I've been trying to eat but my throat hurts too bad to even swollow. Idk what this is its never happened before. My sister said it could be tubal pregnancy but idk...I'm sure my doctor will just write it off because that's all they do these days.

Hey Sweetie, First, I am so sorry for your pain. This sounds like it could potentially be abdominal migraines. Have your doctors tried that route? People always think head when it comes to migraines, but the same mechanism (I think) can take place in the abdomen and wreak havoc, and make a person completely miserable. The monthly regularity fits right in, as some women experience migraines in a pattern that matches their monthly cycles. Above all, I want to wish you the best of luck. I've been battling my health issues for 10 years now, and I have learned that you have to fight hard as your own advocate, and fight for the best doctors. If one isn't working for you, move on, and quickly.

Ive beeb having the same symptoms as the first for the last 4 months, I am 21. Have been told I have pid, yeast infections, uti, bowel infections, I have been to so many doctors and all test have come back negative for any sti's and ultrasounds show nothing. The doctors all seem to think im crazy! It is so frustrating! Have been put on the waiting list for a laproscapy that could take months or years... Im worried the longer it goes on the more it will effect my fertility.
