Hi, for the last couple of days I have noticed that my heart beats are unusually high. I am a student and I have been studying hard for the last two weeks. The exams will be held in two days so I can not waste my time to go to the doctor. Can you tell me what could be the cause of this abnormal heart beat?

Hi, I understand that the exams are very important for you. However you shouldn't risk your health for the good mark. I am speaking from a personal experience. When I was studying I used to drink huge amounts of coffee to stay awake through the nights. If you are like me the caffeine from the coffee is causing your hart to beat faster than usually. I sometimes felt like my heart was going to pop out off my chest. You should tone down with the stimulants and everything will come back to normal. When your exams are over go and see a doctor who will order an electrocardiogram just to make sure that the reason for the abnormal heart beats is not some kind of serious heart condition.
