Sorry I made a mistake, I drink every morning lemon juice, and I use the Alleppo soap to wash my face.

bumpy back

ME TOO!! my shoulders, back, under my chin.

I've never had "bacne" like this.  I had my abortion about 5 weeks ago; I was 5 weeks at that point, and was already breaking out very badly at that point.  

Did you ladies have severe nausea prior to the (DNC) procedure? 

I haven't gone to the doctor because I don't have insurance but I'm super embarrased about the acne.  

Has it gone away for anyone? How long does it take?  Is it just extra hormones in the body?  

Someone help!

It took my skin 1 year to clear up from the time i got my abortion, it got worse before it got better. i found that using a lot of products messed up my skin more as soon as i stopped using strong medicated face washes my skin started to improve. i switched to Neutrogena oil free cream cleanser and I use the Neutrogena clear pore oil-eliminating astringent. when i first started using it i would alternate between the Neutrogena face wash and toner and the next day just use a bar of clay soap. I had extremely oily skin at this point. its been about 6 months now and i noticed a huge change in my skin. I'm not breaking out anywhere near to what was happening a year ago, but I still get a few. its come to a point where I can see that my skin is healing now my scars are starting to fade slowly. I have to stay I don't think i was breaking out specifically because of the abortion I think it was that and a combination of added stress from school and sadness I was feeling after I had it done. When I came out of school in April i changed my diet and started to exercise, I think that helped majorly. Also drink LOTS of water and take multivitamins. Keep in mind every person is different, but I just wanted to share with you what happened to me.

I HAD AN ABORTION TWICE AFTER THE SECOND ONE, I GOT PAINS IN MY STOMACH, SO WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL THEY SAID I HAD AN HORMONE IMBALANCE. THE DOCTOR PUT ME ON A BIRTH CONTROL BECAUCE MY PERIOD CAME THREE TIMES A MONTH WHICH IS NOT NORMAL. EVENTUALLY I TOOK AN ULTRA-SOUND THE DOCTOR SAW SOMETHING GROWING ON ONE OF MY OVARIES, SO I ASK IF THEY WOULD OPERATE HE SAID NO BECAUSE I MIGHTN'T BE ABLE TO HAVE KIDS IF THEY DO SO. SUDDENLY THE PAIN STOP UP TO TODAY THE PAIN COMES AND GOES WHENEVER I DONT KNOW IF TO CONTINUE THE FOLLOW UP OR NOT? A SET OF HEATS BURST OUT ON MY SKIN BUT I NEVER TOOK NOTHING FOR IT, IT WENT ON IT'S OWN. THANK YOU.

Wow please don't judge I have had 3 abortions in the last year after my 2nd abortion which was a pill abortion that didn't turn out right and I ended up getting a dnc surgery my whole forehead totally broke out into small bumps everywhere they would go away n leave marks only for even more to appear(before this I had zero acne) I gained weight...ugh after my 3rd abortion I went on the pill n felt nauseous for the 3weejs I was I. It n was gAining even more weight so I went off for a week had intercourse with my boyfriend. And I'm pregnAnt again for the fourth time within a year...thinking about getting another abortion but I know for sure this one will literally be the end of me my hormormones my self esteem confidence...my boyfriend always wears he won't or didn't cum...won't wear a condom...I'm done

i had the same problem a few weeks after my 2nd abortion. honey,lemon juice and turmeric powder solved my problem,also ice compression helps too.my skin has never been better

Hi I had an abortion 3 years ago never had any acne problems...but after the abortion I stared breaking out....my obgyn got me started on Zahra and it helped alot with my acne

Hello,
I had similar issues with the paragard.. The copper IUD. I removed it myself and with in a week my acne started to clear. I'm absolutely not a doctor, but what I think was happening was the paragard was causing cysts that were disrupting my hormones. Many women experience rashes and other skin problems using the paragard.

My answer is a year later to both but I also am having these same issues. I had a medical abortion at 6 weeks about 7 weeks ago because I just had a baby a year earlier and the dad was out of the picture. It was a stressful decision to make and now I am having acne, which I have never had before, hot flashes, pain on right side, and headaches. My bleeding turned into hemorrhaging at 5 weeks post and after a hospital visit they said it was incomplete and had to do a DNC. I'm two weeks post DNC and bleeding is finally down to end of period blood. This has been a complete nightmare as I fell into the 1% rate that it failed. I'm an esthetician with bad skin now. I hope I can heal from all this and things return to normal. I feel like I am being punished for my decision.

I actually noticed I never had acne before I had an abortion and it's been like 7 months since and my acne has become extrem exspecially around my mouth. I wash my face a lot but products to clean my face made it worse and now I can't even use all of my mostierizing skin products I spent a lot of money one that made my skin look wonderful before. I'm breaking out in places I never thought I would. I thought drinking more water would help but it hasn't I need advice on how to fix it. I miss my nice skin:(
