i'm using penidure injection every month and i don't know the purpose of its use could you please explain

Penidure contains the antibiotic penicillin. It may have been prescribed after you once suffered from Rheumatic Fever, specially if RF affected the heart. Continued usage is useful to forstall a strep infection, which can bring RF back. (A recurrence of RF has the potential to damage heart valves.)
