Dear Jolly! I TOTALLY understand your being upset right now, I am not a doctor so I cannot tell you when to start ingesting hard food, please talk to your doctor about that before starting OK?
As I'm sure you are aware our entire SIEVE system - Liver, Kidneys, Pancreas! Are totally reliant on each other, so when one is "disturbed" injured, operated on etc. The others have to kick it up a notch! Thus your Pancreas causing problems! Granted it has been awhile, so I would think that you just got the pancreatitis from a possible bug or a plugged duct - due to the rise in your bilirubin!
I know you feel like you've been through the ringer - which you have - and this will NEVER end, but it WILL! Now that your levels are back to some sort of normal, you WILL start feeling better, the more calories and energy you ingest. So the 1st thing I want you to do is ask your doctor when you should start ingesting hard food, and if you should start off with soups etc and then work your way up - which I would DEFINITELY suggest! Below is a list of foods that can keep your digestive track in good working order and help your pancreas out as much as possible! Below is an EXCELLENT link to a person that did ALL the work investigating this It's a LOT of reading but it is FANTASTIC!!!

Also the reason why I want you to check with your doctor before starting solid food is that you MIGHT need Synthetic Pancreatic Enzymes! These will help break down the fat content - IF needed OK So definitely ask 1st!
Also know that this is just a change in lifestyle! If you look at the suggestions of what to eat it is just basic common sense. Eat fresh, eat local, eat less fat etc. etc. So don't think of it as a BAD thing, think of it as getting better and building up your immune system and helping out this incredible body of yours and thanking her for hanging in there for you!
The stronger you get, the more you will feel like getting your life back! And IT WILL happen honey, you just have to follow your doctors guide lines that's all! Good luck and health!!!
