I read an article in the newspapers a couple of days ago about some research done on a not so common form of cancer called adenoid cystic carcinoma. I couldn’t understand much because expressions were too medical. Is there anybody who could tell me more about this cancer in basic language? Thx

I was also only reading about this form of cancer. It is a cancer of secretory glands, most commonly salivary glands of the head and neck but can include the trachea, breast, skin, and vulva. I remebere rates for a 5 year survival were big but they were not so big for longer survival. It almost never metastasizes to nearby nodes but most commonly to lungs and liver.
