My wife is about to give birth to our baby girl. There are no words that can describe how I feel. I want to help her about the baby but there are some things that I am not familiar with. Can someone give me advice what to do, and how? I want to be support to my wife in every aspect.

I want to tell you that it is so great to hear that. Many of us think that it is normal what you are feeling when it comes to helping your wife with the baby. However, many men leave it at that. They just say that they want to help, but nothing really happens. It is very important that a new mom feels like she is not alone and that she can count on it. I am sure that your wife will never forget the things that you will do for her. It is especially important to be with your wife in every possible way during first month after the birth of the baby. New moms often have emotional ups and downs that are not predictable so be supportive and offer an ear when it is possible. If the situation is leading out of control, learn the warning signs of postpartum depression and seek help. One good advice is that you should remember that babies aren't breakable. Majority of new dads are sometimes afraid to take their babies in their arms because they are scared that they will harm them. Your wife will need extra sleep and care while her body recovers from the delivery. I hope that I gave you few good advices.
