I had my iud for little over 4 years and it was great. I loved it. My periods had stopped and that's what I loved the most. Me and my boyfriend wanted to try for another baby. I got a 6 year old before Mirena. After removing the iud I came on my period soon after and had 3 periods. I found out I was pregnant and was very happy. When I found out I was 4 weeks. This morning I was bleeding so we went the the hospital only to find out I was having a miscarriage. I read about girls having a miscarriage after removing Mirena but I never thought it could happen to me. Now I'm afraid to try again because of what I've read about wemen have about 2 or 3 miscarriage after removing Mirena before a successful pregnancy. I don't think I could go through this kind of heart break again. (tears)
