I am 24 year old male. I had 18 hour episode of atrial fibrillation in july 2008 and was atmitted in CCU ( Cardiac care unit) and it was the first time i ever had Atrial Fibrillation in my life. I was fully diagonised and the doctors said that everything is nomal and i was discharged from the hospital on the very next day itself. Doctors told me that there is no need for any medication. Doctors adviced me to quit alcohol and tobacco. I quit all sorts of stuffs and I was perfectly ok for the next 1 year. But now a days i am experiencing pounding heart beat some times like when i drive, sit simply watching TV etc........ My heart starts beating fast and it goes suddenly. It will last only for 2- 3 seconds. It happens 6 - 10 times a week. I am a perfect healthy person with no other problems. I am very much anxious and scared of diseases. Could someone help me by giving valuable advice on atrial fibrillation treatment............
