I have had this feeling in the back of my throat for a few weeks now. It constantly feels like the beginning of getting sick, but I have no developed any other symptoms. My nose has been feeling very dry and itchy lately also though, if that is considered an additional symptom. (Although I've never had any allergies before, I have been in a high animal dandruff environment for the past month and a half, two cats and a dog, and there are windows/doors around the house that are open 24/7)

It also has a noticeable sort of taste when I breathe or swallow, I can't explain it but it feels like a thin coating. The most strange guess I can throw out there is that I have been using a lot of chapstick lately, and obviously it wears off, so my guess is that this coating could be chapstick buildup, if that's even possible?
