Bed wetting at puberty

I am past 14 and still bedwetting from puberty! I started puberty over two years ago,before age 12 and my bedwetting started shortly after.I was put into cloth diapers and rubberpants at first and told that when mom found some other good form of protection,that i would start wearing it.Well,it never happened,i am still wearing the cloth diapers and rubberpants now past 14 and even tho i am used to them,it is still embarrassing having mom put them on me every night before bedtime! My bedroom smells like babypowder as do my diapers and the rubberpants!When i have a friend or friends sleepover,they know about my bedwetting and that i wear the diapers and rubberpants and mom puts them on me in front of my friend or friends!The one good thing is that when a couple of my close friends sleepover,they wear my diapers and rubberpants also so i am not the 'odd' girl out!

I am a girl,and just turned 15 two months ago and have been bedwetting ever since i started puberty at age 12.I too wear cloth diapers and rubberpants to bed every night as they were my parents choice for me when i first started.I wear the regular cloth diapers in the 24x27 inch size that are pinned on me with baby diaper pins and my rubberpants are all in adult size,in pastel colors and babyprints and fit me blousy over the diapers.My brother is 13 and frequently brings some of his friends over to play video games and a few times his friends have seen me in my diapers and rubberpants! It is quite embarrassing being see by 13 year old boys and i have to hide in my room untill they leave!

Our daughter is 13 and in puberty and bedwetting also! We are using the cloth diapers and plastic pants on her at night and she is okay with them.Recently,she started using a pacifier,putting it in her mouth and sucking on it while i am putting her diapers and plastic pants on her at bedtime.She told me the pacifier helps relax her while i am doing the diapers on her.She then sucks on it after she is in bed.Should we let her continue on using the pacifier?

If your treating her like a baby by putting diapers an plastic pants on her rather than dealing with the situation correctly then why are you asking if she should continue to use the pacifier

I am a girl 13 and i started puberty a while back and am bedwetting because of it!My parents require me to wear cloth diapers and plastic pants to bed every night! Mom puts them on me before bedtime.I actually like the feeling of being like a baby wearing them while i sleep!

I am a girl 15 and still bedwetting from puberty.I have to wear a size 8 pampers cruiser diaper with plastic pants over it to bed every night! Mom puts the pampers and plastic pants on me before bedtime and i feel like a baby wearing them!In the mornings,i take off the plastic pants and put them in the laundry basket and then take off the soaked pampers and throw them in the trash.

Yes,it is somewhat normal to be bedwetting during puberty! I was a bedwetter from before age 12 to past age 14 and i had a couple of friends who were also bedwetting.We were told that bedwetting was more common in girls going thru puberty than it was for boys. Me and my two friends wore cloth diapers and plastic pants to bed everynight and the three of us would support each other.

I am a girl,almost 13 and have been bedwetting since i started puberty before 12.I wear cloth diapers and youth size plastic pants to bed everynight.Mom bought me a cute pair of plastic pants with babyprints on them especially to wear over my diapers under a footy pajama on christmas eve!

Reading the blogs here,i get the consensus that most parents of bedwetting girls in puberty prefer having them wear cloth diapers and plastic pants as their protection.I have been told by other moms that cloth diapers are much better on their daughters skin at that age,and are softer and cause less rashes than do pull ups or goodnites.These moms have told me that they bought the rubberpants to fit somewhat blousy over the diapers so as to allow air to get in.Most of the moms told me that their daughters actually dont mind wearing the diapers and rubberpants and that some feel like babies.Can anyone add further input to this?

I am a girl 15 and a bedwetter also.I have to wear the size 8 pampers with plastic pants over them to bed every night also.Mom told me that i am going to wear a pampers and the plastic pants under my white tights with my easter dress all day on easter sunday!

Yes it is normal to bedwet during puberty!This happens more with girls going thru puberty than it does boys.When girls start puberty and bedwetting,their parents usually have them wear cloth diapers and plastic pants to bed every night.

To anonymous on12-14-2020-Our neice is 14 and still in puberty and bedwetting.When she first started the bedwetting my sister got her cloth diapers and rubberpants to wear at night and she has been in them ever since! Her diapers are regular cloth baby diapers in the 26''x27'' size and are pinned on her with diapers pins.Babypowder and diaper rash ointment is used on her with the diapers.All of her rubberpants are adult size and fit her blousy as well and are in white and pastel colors. When her parents go away for the weekend,she stays at our house and has her diaper bag with the rest of her stuff.At bedtime,i put the diapers and rubberpants on her. Last sunday,May 2nd,she made her First Communion with the 2nd graders in the class od 2021.We went to their house before hand and i helped my sister dress her in her communion outfit.After her bath,we pinned 10 of her cloth diapers on her,then put her white rubberpants on over them,then her camisole.Her poofy communion dress went on,then her veil,and last her lace socks and white mary jane shoes.Her bedwetting diapers and rubberpants looked cute under her dress and made her feel like one of the little girls in her class!

I am a girl 15 and was a puberty bedwetter up untill 14.Like some of the other girls here,my parents had me wear cloth diapers and rubberpants to bed everynight.After my bedwetting ended,mom got rid of most of my diapers and rubberpants,but kept a few diapers and 5 pair of rubberpants and since i am 15 and guy crazy,they make me wear the diapers and rubberpants for holidays and special occasions for 'chastity' to prevent me from wanting to fool around with boys! I had to wear them last christmas and this past easter!We are going to a relatives wedding on June 19 and was told that i have to wear the diapers and rubberpants for that.Are my parents being to overbearing?

To the girl in the post above-No your parents are not being overbearing!I assume you wore the diapers and rubberpants for the wedding that day!They are a great way for parents to protect their daughters from becomming sexually active and wanting to fool around with boys.I have heard of other parents requiring their teen daughters to wear diapers and rubberpants for holidays and special occasions and they not only prevent the daughters from wanting to fool around,but also make them feel cute and little girlish.
