Hi, I am new in the body building world but I really like this sport. I was practicing boxing before that and I am switching to body building. I am doing pretty well in last several weeks and I am lifting 240 pounds in the bench. My friend told me it is hardest thing to lift 315 pounds so I would like to know why.

Hi, 315 pounds is not different from any other weight but there is psychological problem for body builder on that weight. 315 pound means three big plates on the both sides and it looks quite difficult. Some body builders are changing big plates with several smaller just to break trough that psychological barrier. Also some builders skip this weight and add just few more pounds to overcome this problem.
