I think Remember the Titans because it is a cinderella story and it is a true story, although I am sure dramatized. I actully saw the real Coach Boone speak at South Dakota State University, he told of the bits and pieces that were added amoung other things.

Varsity Blues, Longest Yard, The Program, The Replacements, Friday Night Lights, Any Given Sunday all have their place.

What does everyone think? I know I have to be missing a few

Worst Football movie of my list?

Out of my list, although it gives a unique perspective, I wasnt a big fan of Any Given Sunday. With that said I would watch it again, well, because its about football.

Gdogg, Mark said you sent some pictures, I havent seen them yet but much thanks "you da man". Ever consider switching over to a Bears fan? I mean it would be awfully convenient. Just giving you a hard time.
Best - Brian's Song - the original (although, that's not really about football, I suppose) Worst - Waterboy :P You forgot to add Rudy to your list of 'bests'

You almost had me convinced you weren't Eric's brother. Until that last comment.

I'm going to get some brown paint and paint a football on your ass. It'll make kicking it that much more a pleasure.

WOW I forgot a couple of classics, and Yes I would agree Brians Song was outstanding, I have seen that movie many times, MAN I am embarrassed to call myself a Bears fan (I set myself up for some cheap shots on that one)

Rudy was good aswell

I liked Rudy and Friday Night Lights.

Any Given Sunday with Cameron Diaz sucked.

There was a TV movie on a couple years ago about Howard Cosell and the inside look at the origins of Monday Night Football and all controversy surrounding Howard. I liked that a lot, but I remember Howard well and when Frank replaced him.

One of my favorites is Remember The Titans

Favorite football comedy, The Longest Yard (The original)

as are most bears fans! :P (with good reason, I might add)

I had a ball with The Longest Yard (remake)

Remember the Titans was awesome.

There's a new football one coming out this fall that I really want to see.

Blasphemous as it is for a Green Bay boy to say, I never really have seen a lot of football movies. But in the cinematic field - about as loose as one can interpret that - the best comedy has to be The Super Bowl Shuffle. Bad acting, bad singing, and dancing that would embarass Swayze and Shelfie - it's got it all!

Rudy is definately the bestest.

for me.

When I'm giving my leadership trainings I often use certain scenes from Remember the Titans. I think it's faaaaantastic! and wha??!! Nobody mentioned Lucas???? (lucaplakia in the house!)

The original "Longest Yard" and my all time favorite: Knute Rockne, All American. Before I forget: Three Stooges and Marx Brothers' Movies with football themes are always good.

Extra points if you know how to pronounce "Knute" the right way.

Hmmmm - I use scenes from Office Space.

Back to the drawing board.

Funny thing is, if I was doing that training, I would use examples from MTV's "Pimp My Ride".
