I have to take biacin with omeprazole because of stomach ulcer. I have developed stomach upset that was worse than before the treatment. I also experienced changes in taste. Are these symptoms normal adverse effects of biacin? I take 500mg two times a day, and should take it for 14 days.

Biacin is very powerful antibiotic, so it obviously has effect on normal stomach flora, and not only on its target cells. I experienced the same when was on biaxin, two months ago.
