I'm a 21 year old female, and I have been sexually active for a few years now, and have had four partners. In the last six months or so, however, I have experienced bleeding while having sex with my boyfriend of a year. It happens on a frequent occassion but not every time. I am worried that there is an underlying problem or if it is just due to the fact that he does not use lubrication and there is little to no foreplay before we have sex. I have no other signs or sypmtoms of a problem, but don't figure bleeding during intercourse is normal, and it has never happened before a few months ago. My boyfriend was tested just before we started dating a little over a year ago and tested negative for everything.

There really should be foreplay and you really should insist on using lubrication. The vagina expands when you are aroused to a safe cradle for intercourse. Without the arousal, the vagina doesn't expand and the walls don't lubricate. The walls of the vagina often don't lubricate enough with foreplay, so lubricant has to be used to decrease the chances of irritation and bleeding. You might want to consider finding a less selfish boyfriend.
