Omg same thing just happened to me. Had a really scared that it shouldn't every stop ave I'd have to the er with me holding myself. I tried side newskin, didn't work. It bleed for like an hour. And when I say bled I mean like a stuck pig. This little hole was literally a pin hole. I think too it bled so much bc it got my bp up because it scared me so much. So I'm doing the cold compress and laying back on the bed right now to relax.

Same just happened to me. I applied a sterile cloth and held it with medical tape. Put on briefs and lay flat on my back, pillow under my bottom and raised my legs. No more bleeding in the last 10 minutes. Thanks everyone for sharing.

Try a Styptic pencil. We used to use those when shaving to stop a cut from bleeding.

Yes that is what they are and my MD confirms they are not serious. I've had it happen 3 times over the past 9 months...always after taking a hot shower and rubbing the towel there too hard. First 2 times it took forever to stop the bleeding. Then as a former EMT I decided to get smart. My trauma kit (and now my bathroom medical cabinet) carries a spray called "QUICK STOP" . It is a spray on powder that helps stop bleeding quickly. It stings for about 30 seconds but the bleeding stops. Local pharmacy should carry it on the shelf with first aid supplies.

If styptic pencil (aluminum sulfate) works, can tawas powder (potassium aluminum sulfate) also work? i would have tried this had the bleeding not stopped before the idea popped

I’m only 28 and I’m in a car ride to a different state and it won’t stop. I literally wrapped all my junk in toliet paper at a rest stop.

A hour ago, my wife noticed that had a small bump on my sack that looked like a tiny blood blister. It was about the size of a blackhead. Often times she will squeeze little pimples or blackheads on my back so when she did it to the ‘spot’, it squirted like when you pop a blood blister. It then bled profusely and it seemed there was no way to stop it. I was a firefighter and EMT and raised 3 kids so I I know how to stop a wound from bleeding. She felt so bad she went to get liquid skin from CVS, since any bandage just soaked thru in seconds. That did not work and I was going to try superglue but the implications were obvious. It did eventually stop when we put neosporin on a spot band aid on it, and covered that with a small gauze and a large band aid.. I was considering going to the ER but it would be embarrassing to panic that way over the tiniest little cut. I have shaved down there for years cuz she likes em smooth and never once even nicked myself. I tell you what… I’m going to think twice a hundred times the next time I shave cuz if this tiny pinhole gushed blood this way I’d hate to see a razor cut.

These are called Angiokeratomas. I get them all the time in that area, on my scrotum. Yes, they bleed a huge ton sometimes. First time it happened to me I was convinced I was going to bleed to death. You have to realize, though, they are dots that are FILLED WITH BLOOD already, though.. like PRE-FILLED sacs of blood, so.. yeah, they're gonna bleed a lot. That's why there's a bump there in the first place, the BLOOD BUMP/SAC has formed and pools in there.

Apply pressure for awhile and it should stop.

Yep, happened to me 2 times, I sometimes shave my balls and I have 2 of these tiny spots on one of my balls.
Every time I used just wrapped toilet paper, and a pair of stretched underwear. Put the toilet paper folded in 4 or 8 over the problem, and pull the underwear over so they will sustain the toilet paper on the problem with some pressure on it. For me it stopped within 5 minutes.

The thing is if we have these litlle tony spots, to take care when showering or shaving down there, if we are gentle enough to do not scratch them, they will not bleed.

The good part is we should no worry. Stay healthy!
