Been awhile for any kind of update on the issue, but figured I'd throw something out there, I had not had sexual activity for quite some time now and after a little bit of alone time decided to see if my problem was still around and well... it is. Didn't even ejaculate this time and there was blood and a really dark red blood clot in my urine. If any one has any ideas of what may be causing this please let me know, thank you.

Hello. I saw on the Television that blood in your urine or in your sperm, is sperm... It's when your little nerves bursts when your about to ejaculate. It's something normally gone in 3 years. But you need to see a docter if it carries onh like that.... Don't ask me any more questions, It's what I saw on Docters television.... so I'm not the expert.... You gotta see a docter... plus if your female and pregnant and there is blood in your urine there is something wrong with your baby and they need to be taken out of the womb.

So in that logic I suppose it would be a good idea to reframe from any form of sexual activity (sex/masturbation) wouldn't it?

Well I went in and saw a different urologist this time, this one seemed to know what the hell he was talking about, after conversing with him and explaining what had been going on, he ended up saying "Well from what you have told me, it really sounds like vasculitious, only problem is I am uncertain if it is in your prostate or your seminal tubes". I'm really just hoping hes right and it goes away since he wants to see me again in 6 months and if for some reason it hasnt cleared up, they want to do an ultrasound of my prostate... NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT!

Sorry for the delay in updates, been with out internet, alright me and my urologist may have got this figured out, VASCULITIOUS! its of either the prosate or seminal glands, now your doctor will most likely proscibe you "Ciprofloxacin" for this, its a VERY expensive anti biotic plus like many anti biotics it may not work so he put me on "Sulfamethoxazole" ~DO NOT! take if you are allergic to sulfur in any way your specialist or doctor should go over this with you~ Alright now back to what I was saying, I was placed on 6 weeks worth and it besides being fairly cheap around 30-40 compared to the possible $***.** it could of been, this stuff seems to be working with me. Now you can go about finding this out one of two ways, take the pills and see if they work, other wise you need to get an appointment to get an ultra sound on your prostate and if your not sure of what they do for that I'll save you a moment of looking, they shove the device that collects images during the ultrasound up your rear end since well thats the easiest way to get to the prostate. Now on to a few other things I have noticed and check your own health to see if this adds up, you drink carbonated beverages fairly often (5-6 cans or more worth) and smoke. If not one of those two things, do you drink alcohol? I noticed something after taking the meds for awhile, asked my doc if it was alright if I drank he said he saw no problem, I noticed I had started getting better, I got pretty hammered one night, next day had sex with my gf in the shower, next thing I know blood and a blood clot, I waited a few days kept taking my meds, we got it on in the shower again... NO BLOOD! Urinating afterwords NO BLOOD OR BLOOD CLOTS. Then a few nights later I broke down and got pretty smashed again, guess what came back, and same thing a few days after words. Call me crazy but I think I may have finally figured this thing out, I have read other posts on websites and alot of them seem to be alcohol related. But all and all along this horrifying journey I have found out that the "Flomax" increased my size (thickness) so there was a plus, I found out that "Tramadol" gives me horrible urinary retention, and "Hydrocodone" is some really amazing stuff... with that said please inform me if anything changes for anyone else and if this helps at all!

Hey there............ I just had all my tests done, cystoscopy, MRI, ultrasound...... and MRI show the vains around the prostate are quite vascular, but my urologist says that probably not it....... Not sure what is causing this...... Thinking about it this all started when I was drinking alchohol, pop, and smoking alot about 3 years ago...... What the tablets to cure this and is there and side affects from these?????

Well the two main anti-biotics they can give you is "Ciprofloxacin" which is really expensive other wise "Sulfamethoxazole" which did the job for me fairly well, only down side is if you have any form of allergy to sulfur you can not take it. I had been put on 6 weeks worth of the "Sulfamethoxazole" but other than that I have completely stopped drinking alcohol, I still smoke and drink quite a few cans or bottles worth of pop a day and the blood and blood clots have not returned.  If your urologist really doesn't seem that is the case and you have no objection to getting a second opinion about the matter from another urologist I would suggest that.  I went to a different clinic after I was fed up with being ran in circles about my problem, not to mention them not helping me out with pain due to the problem.  I went to a different clinic, doc helped take care of my pain, ended up seeing the urologist there after a few visits, and after I told him everything from start to finish on whats been going on, its how he came to vascularitious.  I really do hope you start getting better, it's not a fun experience that much I know for sure, especially for how long it took to get cleared up.  For me it took almost 5 months to get better since.

I have this problem for 3 YEARS on and off.  Below is my Explanation and Treatment.  But you could have something different so it may not work for everyone.  My issue is RUPTURED BLOOD VESSELS IN THE PROSTATE, URETHRA, EJACULATORY DUCT INTERSECTION AREA.

When you go to the Doctor / Urologist and explain your symptoms the Doctor / Urologist immediately think its a Bacterial Infection / Prostatitis and Doctor / Urologist will most of the time continue to diagnose it as Bacterial and if it does not clear up the Doctor / Urologist tend to STOP there with Treatment or just PRESCRIBED you different ANTIBIOTICS.

I have learned over time and A LOT of research it is a RUPTURED BLOOD VESSEL(S) in the area where your Urethra, Ejaculatory Ducts, and Prostate all intersect.  Many of you will URINATE 2 CLOTS and BLOOD after EJACULATION. I have also come to the conclusion it is most likely a RUPTURED BLOOD VESSELS in each Ejaculatory Ducts. IE. Why we may all URINATE 2 CLOTS AND BLOOD after EJACULATION.

Many things can cause this to happen.  High consumption of over the counter Erectile Sex Pills (What happen to me.....), Excessive Masturbation, Very Aggressive / Rough Sex, Very Heavy Excessive Drinking then Sex (Alcohol thins the blood and linkage to GOUT / HIGH URIC ACID, my issue also.....).

After it occurs depending on how severe the RUPTURE is and depends on how fast it heals or if very severe my never heal properly and may get a RUPTURE on many sexual occasions.  You might need Urologist Advice how to treat this as it will be difficult and may need a more EVASIVE procedure.

So basically I have come to the FOLLOWING TREATMENT that has worked for me and also what I have read on this site and other internet forums about this topic.

DioxyCycline / Ciproflaxin - This is NOT for the Antibiotics reason, these drugs have a high dosage of Anti-Inflammatory which reach your Prostate Area which helps in the healing process.  However, what I have found in my research and what happened to me is it works for the 1st or 2nd RUPTURE but then they stop working or only work a little bit.  Therefore, you need to take the Antibiotics with the FOLLOWING BELOW OR TAKE JUST THE BELOW REGIMENT as Antibiotics are not healthy for anyone long term.

Cranberry Supplements - Not sure why this works lol but from what I read it has healing properties and reach the RUPTURE BLOOD VESSEL area in your Prostate / Urethra Area.

Turmeric Supplements - Not sure why this works lol but from what I read it has healing properties and reach the RUPTURE BLOOD VESSEL area in your Prostate / Urethra Area.

Vitamin K with D - Helps to Heal the Rupture Blood Vessel - Buy High Quality if Possible

Vitamin E - Helps with Healing Blood Vessels - Buy High Quality if Possible

Vitamin C - Helps with your Body Healing Everything - Take a High Dose! - Buy High Quality if Possible

Prostate Shrinking Supplements - IE Saw Palmetto, Prosta Q, Etc. many on the Internet.  This will SHRINK your Prostate and I think help with the Ejaculatory Ducts as it is interconnected.  The RUPTURE could be on the Prostate so a smaller Prostate means less blood in your Prostate which helps with the HEALED RUPTURE not happening again.

Drink Less - Alcohol before Sex - Alcohol thins your Blood and could cause the HEALED RUPTURE to break again.  Especially if you DRINK and have aggressive sex soon after.

The only thing I am still Experimenting with is the Safe Dosage on any of the Above Supplements.  I basically double the recommended amount as I have research Supplements need to be taken at a higher dosage if you really want them to work well and fast.

Finally, my Doctor / Urologist have prescribed me Finistride (Proscar).  If you read the internet this drug will basically SUPER Shrink your Prostate and you basically will have very little blood in the Area of your PROSTATE, URETHRA, and EJACULATORY DUCTS Intersection.  However, this drug DOES have a huge side effect where you could have severe Erectile Dysfunction Issues ED.  Then you have to take Viagra / Cialis.  Then you may get the RUPTURE again because of increase of Blood Flow from the Viagra / Cialis.  Also, Finistride (Proscar) take 3-6 months to kick in.  I have decided NOT to take it yet but it could help some people suffering from this issue.

Hope this helps anyone going through this.  Also, if anyone does do this Regiment and have any Advice on what to add would be great!  I would really like to know what Dosage People area taking on this Regiment to make it better and work to where it fully heals if possible.  I am looking for a Good Anti-Inflammatory Supplement that can reach the Prostate Area, any adive on that would be great too!
