I have always had this, I don't really know why and I've never met anyone else who has it. Basically some of my blood vessels are outside of my skin or I guess it is more like they look like they are embedded in my skin, instead of being inside my body like they are supposed to be. what it looks like is small red dots on my skin. they don't go away ever but new ones have popped up over time. i have them on my hands, arms, and face. I probably have about 10-15 of them all together.
i know they are blood vessels because once i was bored or curious or something so i stabbed one with a safety pin and it was gushing blood. like.. way too much blood for just a pinprick.
no one else in my family has them. like i said i have never met anyone else in my life who has this. anyone know what it is from?

I too get these. I like you discovered this by cutting one with a pair of finger nail clippers since I thought it was a really stubborn blackhead/whitehead. The blood flowed like the river Nile.

Have you had any luck finding out anything else about this condition? It seems very hard to find any good information on it.

Sounds like you both have cherry angiomas. I have always had 2 on my chest since I was a little kid. My dermatologist said they are nothing to worry about and are common in pale skin, blue eyed people, like myself.
