Hi. I am a guy who is 20 years old. I want to know something about blood vessels because my family has a history of heart diseases. Blood vessels are all over the body as you probably know already. They are part of the circulatory system and their role is to pass blood throughout entire body. The most important blood vessels are arteries and veins. There are other classifications too. Types of other blood vessels: aorta – carries blood out of the heart, arterioles, capillaries (smallest ones), venules, etc. They have a role in many diseases and because of that it is crucial to keep them in good condition.
